Self-love: Why it is important

Self-love: Why it is important

Self-love is a process of showing yourself care everyday.

Can I read to you?

Self-love is challenging and necessary

Self-love is being able to reflect on the following questions: how did you choose to check-in with yourself today, would you be able to describe how you feel to a five year old, what is your favorite, healthy coping mechanism during hard times and how does your emotional state impact your actions?

“Seeing yourself” is practice of reflection which is a necessary part of growth. Your holistic health depends on your emotional wellbeing.

It’s important to learn how to apply self-love to your life if you want to love your life through the dark moments.

Self-love is knowing you and still choosing to love you.

It is knowing who you come to be in this present moment. As your eyes read across this screen, I wonder, who do you choose to be?

Loving yourself brings the power back to you

Being able to answer the following question, do you choose to be someone who decides to overcome life’s daily challenges, requires you to acknowledge the power in your life.

The way you experience your life is a choice.

Everyday you make powerful choices that change the outcome of your tomorrow.

You can be influenced by others, but it’s you who make the decision to commit to what is said.

Your real power lies in your ability to see yourself – not in controlling others around you.

Knowing that the power is in your hands is life-changing when you begin to apply it to every moment.

Self-love is a daily act of service.

It takes effort everyday. Self-love is not a couple-times-a-month routine. It’s every day.

Everyday we wake up we have the option to experience life to the fullest.

We have the option to be present or hideaway in our thoughts.

Being present is the greatest form of self-love

Every attempt to love, occurs through the present moment.

It doesn’t happen in the past. It doesn’t happen in the future.

Every solution, cure, remedy, fixation requires presence.

It’s only the Here & Now.

There is no escape. It’s an illusion.

Healing through trauma leads to fulfilment and peace in the present moment.

The weight of the world is lifted from your shoulder and you can breathe again.

Self-love through the present moment is an experience to live for.

When you feel as if you have no worries in life, you be light.

A transformational love for each of us

We didn’t feel the love when needed growing up. It’s obvious…

Feeling unloved feels like you’re abandoned and neglected from the source you need the most.

The truth hurts.

We are all codependent. We all rely on others to help us feel better.

It’s classic human behavior.

Each of us have an innate need to feel connected and receive and give love.

Every human is born with this neurological wiring.

Self-love sets the standard for love.

Understanding yourself, meaning your human behaviors, helps you understand others.

Loving yourself, meaning your human behaviors, helps you love others.

We need more of that.

We need more love.

You are the embodiment through your actions.

Be love.

Start with giving it to yourself, and watch how your life elevators without the need to change anything but your mindset and heart posture.

Love heals.

with peace,
