Take the Risk. It will Change Your Life.

Take the Risk. It will Change Your Life.

Risk-taking brings confidence. What’s the worst that could happen? Honestly, answer the question for yourself.

What happens when you take a risk

After you’ve envisioned the worst, see yourself enjoying the best results of taking this risk.

Done visualizing? Okay, it’s time for you to create a plan and strategize.

Making excuses gets you nowhere except where you’ve always been. Clearly, you don’t want to remain in the same spot.

Whether you’re feeling miserable, unsatisfied, or overhelmed with life, it is your responsibility to change.

There is no one to blame for how your life unfolds after this moment. Take some accountability. The world is full of resources to help you turn your traumatic thoughts into thoughts of power.

Although my writing to you is just one place to start, I always recommend seeking a professional, licensed therapist to help you filter through your thoughts.

Consider BetterHelp, the questionnaire provided before matching you with potential therapists helps you choose someone who can understand you.

Your mindset influences your sense of risk management

What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a risk is defined as the possibility of something bad happening (last accessed October 24, 2023). The possibility of something happening is not certain – it is just that a possibility.

Don’t get caught in a case of “analysis paralysis,” which is the inability to make a decision due to overthinking.

Remember how you envisioned the worst possible outcome? Well, use that vision to create a plan to avoid mistakes that will lead to that outcome.

Now, I’m not insinuating that taking a risk always leads to something positive, but it will lead to a lesson and lessons are valuable.

Your life is a reflection of the decisions you make

Consequentially, it is in your benefit to take move through uncertainty.

If you saw the whole staircase, then there would be no need for you to have faith. God didn’t create humanity so that we learn on our own understanding, but to put our faith and life in Jesus.

It is in God’s best interest to help you win and overcome any challenges. Taking that risk is a part of giving God the glory over your story; otherwise known as your trials and tribulations.

Put your mind to it and overcome your current fear of taking risks. You’re the only one holding yourself back.

God provides everything you need. Believe in Him that He believes in you.
