Experiencing a life of peace is living a life to the fullest. Understanding the following convo is learning how a peaceful life can be your reality.

Peace is NOT the absence of conflict
First, there is no way to avoid conflict, so if you’re thinking of ways to avoid it – stop while you’re ahead. Agreeing with what goes against what you feel and who you are only hurts you and everyone else in the long run.
Understand that conflict can be healthy
When you engage in people-pleasing behaviors like being conflict avoidant, you decrease your chance of experiencing a peaceful life. Pleasing others at the expense of your mental and spiritual health creates conflict within yourself which tears you down. Gratefully so, all hope is not lost. Peace is an answer.
Peace provides a way to handle conflict
As a matter of fact, I refer to peace as being a quiet and calm state of mind. Silence is golden. When your mind is quiet, you open up the space to make decisions without worrying or being anxious.
It is no secret that we create our future through the habits that our thoughts produce.
It is the presence of God
God is all-knowing, the creator of this everlasting experience we call life. God created you and decided that everything is to work in your favor for the good of this world.
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28 NLT
Knowing the Spirit of God invites peace
There are so many people who say they love God, but their life does not reflect knowing God. When you know who God is and how He works through your life and there is a noticeable peace about you. Jesus is the perfect human to show you how to live in peace.
For example, my favorite parable in the Bible is when the disciples of Jesus start panicking on the boat in the middle of a chaotic storm while Jesus lays peacefully asleep. Whether Jesus actually silenced a physical weather storm is not the lesson I want to highlight here.

You may be experiencing an emotional storm in your life, one that you feel like will never end. You may feel like you’re going to drown in the storm like Jesus’ disciples did.
Jesus asked two questions ““Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Jesus experienced calmness in the storm because of His faith. He knows God.
Being connected with God creates a peaceful life
God settles your mind when you are in a relationship with him. He provides this way of living for you to choose. Experiencing peace is your choice. Your circumstance doesn’t define your experience. Your perspective is everything.
Choose to focus on God. Allow His spirit to guide you along this journey.
