Rap is form of fearless storytelling. It is poetry mixed with a heartbeat and the well needed release of aggression.
God blesses me with the gift of words. I (w)rap them around my life to show the light bestowed within me.
I found peace through rapping. Although, rap is not new to me.
The moment I learned how to spell and write, I began writing poetry. I grew to share my poetry online through Facebook and Weebly.
I performed on the College of DuPage Speech and Debate team where performing Poetry became my jam.
Concerning my rap persona, Queen Goddess Ronii, I discovered my gift for rapping when I felt mad at the person I wanted attention from the most.
These feelings spiraled into a musical series of freestyling. The start of a new hobby.
