How would you rate your confidence level?
In the first place, the origin of the word confidence involves trusting. Which prompts me to ask the following questions, “Who do you trust? Yourself, others, God?” Let’s have just one convo at a time about how confidence and trust impacts your life.
Have confidence in God.
The Creator of the universe created you and me. In other words, God provides the experience you and I need to grow closer to Him and fulfill His will – to share love. In the beginning of your existence, God is there to planting seeds in the fertile soil of your mind, so that one day you will see the fruits of His spirit blossom in your life.
Specifically, the fruits of the Holy Spirit are listed in Galatians 5:22-23. Check out the video below to see what they are.
Furthermore, God is always here. God will never leave nor forsaken you, so that means He is here to offer you what you need. See, here’s the thing about our misunderstanding of God, His blessings may not always look like what we want them to.
It is important to realize, God blesses you through experiences.
These experiences allow you the opportunity to become the receiver of what you’re praying to God about.
For example, imagine you’re looking to buy a new house. Used to just paying rent and some utilities, you have no idea what the home buying process looks like. You’re a first-time buyer, so you look for houses and start from there. However, you don’t realize there are steps before looking for the house that you must complete.
Before buying the house, your character and responsibility is challenged. There is character development occurring while you save 10% for a down payment, improve your credit score above 700, and contact lenders for pre-approval. You will build the home as you allow God to build you.
Because our Father God is our provider and protector, He prepares you for your blessings through experiences. No matter how troubling a situation may seem, God is here with you as your teacher.
The lesson is the blessing.
Trust that God gave you what you need.
God gave you His spirit the moment Jesus died on calvary, then rose from the dead three days later. Jesus overcame death and transfigured into a glowing, bright light dissipating into thin air. Jesus died to become the bridge between heaven and earth. The restored covenant between us sinful humans and God.
That being said, God has no reason not to give you what you truly need. His grace covers every choice He makes when it comes to you. Sin can never be the reason you are separated from God’s blessings. Although, it is important to note, when you are in the presence of God, you respect Him and don’t take His forgiveness for granted.
Anyone truly connected to God uphold our Ten Commandments and we do not sin uncontrollably. Unrelenting faith in Jesus transforms our mind and ways to be like Christ. Jesus Christ resisted all temptations of the devil to show that any child of God can do the same.
God gave you the Holy Spirit you need.
Remember, what you need and what you want are two completely different things. Matthew 6:33 guides us to seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all else will be added unto you. God will provide everything you need, you just have to trust Him first. Fulfill our first commandment, “You shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3).
Keep God first and watch His promises come to life.
Godfidence. I am confident in God.
With God, I can never lose. I am 100% confident that God is the head of my life and He leads me through experiences that allow me to be in eternal peace, love, and joy. I am confident that the trails and tribulations I endure are not in vain. In the right hand of God, I am in the best hands possible.
How could I not be confident in this experience? I am so blessed to be connected with THE Creator of the universe, of you and me.
I hope through reading this post you find yourself more confident.
As always thank you for taking the precious time out of your day to hear what I have to say.
With peace,
Veronica Speaks
