The Bible is by far one of the best self-help books I have read thus far.

The Bible is a book of lessons
When we put all the religious wumbo jumbo to the side, the Bible is a book of lessons just like any other book – both fiction and nonfiction. Personally, it makes no difference if the occurrences in the book actually took place; regardless, there are profound messages that are applicable to life.
The Spirit of Religion blinds you from understanding the Bible
Having a Spirit of Religion means, to me, living a life that reflects a surface level relationship with God or no relationship with Him at all.
I feel like so many people are stuck in the spirit of religious judgement that they miss the main purpose of the Bible which is to show you how to live a present and full life.
Every story lesson can be deconstructed to support that God is in the present moment. Being in the Garden of Eden is simply being in the presence of God. This point we can only access when we know who God is and what it means to focus our attention on Him.
Imagine focusing on the present moment….the wonders that it will do in your life.
Bruh, I am not a Prophet
I don’t care to hold any titles such as Preacher, Evangelist, Prophet, and etc. I am just a child of God. If you feel inclined to judge me for my interpretation of the Bible, I encourage you to read Matthew 7:3-5.
I know the reason God created me and it wasn’t to be perfect.
Like believers in the Bible, I lean of God

I don’t know everything. I don’t understand every verse in the Bible. I don’t always apply the lessons to my life. Honestly, I don’t think I ever will.
Consequentially, I lean on God to help me in everything.
