Success Looks Like Me, Too.

Who am I to say I am successful?

To say the least, I am what success looks like. But, you know I have to do the most. Allow me to explain.

I want to use all my gifts while I am here. I don’t know when is my expiration date.

So, I focus daily on impact by sharing my gifts with others. I know my legacy is already created, and I want to ensure it’s worth the read. My legacy started the day I was born, and my birth changed the lives of countless people. No cap.

I had already been declared successful the moment I took my first breath of air.

It took me twenty-four years to realize this. To see that success looks like me too.

What does ‘Success Looks Like Me, Too” mean for you?

You are successful when you realize it and receive clarity to make better decisions. There is no lack in your life; chances are you are having difficulty placing all the pieces together. I view life through a Puzzle Masterpiece analogy.

We are born with all the puzzle pieces we need to construct a beautiful masterpiece when we are first born, and the pieces are just all jumbled up and mixed around. Some people start sorting and connecting the end pieces, and others start by first sorting and connecting similar colors and textures.

Regardless of how it’s started, there is a process of connecting the pieces that come before the beauty of the masterpiece.

See, my favorite past-time is finishing puzzles. I was the child that finished puzzles and glued them to a white poster board so we could admire the complete picture.

I love allowing my brain to work yet relax at the same time. I realized everyone does not enjoy finishing puzzles, though. Some people are overwhelmed by the number of puzzle pieces, or some lack the motor skills to connect irregular edges. This puzzle logic can be applied to real life too.

There is a strategy to completing the masterpiece.

  1. Be present. Go slow and step by step
  2. Organize the pieces into categories that make sense to you
  3. Choose any category of pieces and beginning connecting them together
  4. Once those pieces are connected, start on another category and so on
  5. Focus on the bigger picture and it will be complete.
